Why we exist
Vision loss can change daily routines, independence, work, relationships, and a person’s sense of direction. A diagnosis often leaves individuals and families with practical questions about what to do next. SightUnseen.me helps bridge that gap by listening, helping people identify useful resources, and connecting them with human support.
What we do
Our National Care Model™ centers on three pillars: advocacy, connection, and stability. We help individuals and families understand available services and benefits, reduce isolation through supportive relationships, and organize practical next steps. Our Advocate Buddy™ program offers personal follow-up after a request for support.
- For adults with vision loss: Start with our intake form. SUE, our intake assistant, begins the conversation; our team reviews the summary; and an Advocate Buddy™ follows up.
- For families and caregivers: Our Family Support page explains available guidance and provides a request form.
- For providers: The Provider page explains referrals and offers complimentary QR intake cards.
- For community organizations: Our Partnerships page describes ways to collaborate.
